Dr. Sharon Chen first came to San Francisco in 1984. She received a M.S. in Oral Biology from UCSF, a Ph.D. in Microbiology, and Immunology from UNC Chapel Hill, and went on to graduate from the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Chen has moved here to the Bay Area to return to her roots and be with family. She is excited to continue the tradition of excellent dental care established here at Diablo Creek Dentistry.
Dr. Chen and her husband Eric currently reside in San Ramon and spend their weekends hiking and exploring the scenery in the Bay Area. She has two children who are both dentists and a very shy cat. Dr. Chen is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys eating healthy foods and taking dance classes over Zoom.
Dr. Chen has placed over 1,500 dental implants over the course of her career and is also certified in orthodontic treatment with Invisalign (clear braces) and 6-Month-Smile technology. She has over two decades of experience in running her own dental practice in Framingham, MA.
